SB zoo - feeding giraffes - 3/30/14

One of Sadie's favorite things at the Santa Barbara zoo is feeding the giraffes.  It is amazing.  This giraffe is 14 feet tall and is the dad to all of the babies there....

Sing like a star performance - 3/26/14

Sadie sang the song Brave by Sara Bareilles for the class.  She did AWESOME!!  She did a great job moving around the stage and didn't have to depend on the teacher.  Too bad the spotlight is blaring her but we all know what she looks ;)

Assembly - Dr. Seuss poem - 3/21/14

The kindergarteners had a busy month and performed at all of this months assemblies.  They only had a week to memorize this poem.

Velcro wall - 3/15/14

Every year we go to the Rec center for their St. Patrick's day party (Sadie loves the Irish step dancers!!).    They had a velcro wall, which apparently needs new velcro...

Assembly - Bear song - 3/7/14

Sadie's school does a "Bear Day" where everyone brings a bear.  The former school head started 30 years ago (yikes!) when Cabbage Patch Kids came out.  They had kids bring in a bear because they knew everyone had one and wouldn't be left out if they weren't able to get a Cabbage Patch for whatever reason.  The former head (she still works in the office) has over 150 bears of her own!!

Dancing at BBall game - 3/1/14

We went to Pepperdine to see Sam Scholl's team play.  Sadie can't help but entertain everyone with her dancing!!

Rainy day - rockin - 3/1/14

During the rain, Sadie had to play and make up a song.  She's also wearing a bathing suit under the rain coat just to make sure!!

Rainy day - puddles - 3/1/14

We had a huge rain last month.  We needed it but I'm glad it was brief.  Luckily the back yard didn't flood too bad but Sadie loved playing in it!!
